Only two of them are available in this collection, one of them is reminiscent of a Greek goddess while the other seems to be inspired by the so called garçonne look from the twenties. A new element in this collection compared to others, is that there are some off-the-shoulder dresses available too. They all have three-quarter length sleeves and are perfect to show off your long neck, elegant shoulders and flawless skin. Fitted at the waist and with an A-line skirt, they look like something a princess would wear.

The style that is most common in Pronovias’ 2013 Manuel Mota collection is the high-neck dress. This type of dress usually features bare arms, but could also come with lace cap sleeves. The base of the dress seems to be a strapless bustier gown to which an extra piece of fabric has been delicately added, covering the area from the bustier up to the neck. When made out of lace or a sheer type of fabric, this extra piece of fabric allows some skin to be seen through its mazes. This style is particularly good looking on tall women and does require an elegant updo, so your hair does not cover the true eye catcher of the dress.

Want to show off nicely tanned shoulders, a toned back or a sexy cleavage? Go for a strapless bustier gown! They are very feminine and make the most of your shoulders and arms, while creating that coveted hourglass shape. Wang of course does what she is best at and that’s creating dramatic dresses with layers upon layers of chiffon folds, draped so beautifully that some of them resemble roses. Usually her collections feature no lace, but the spring 2013 collection seems to be an exception. Wang has used lace in as many as three dresses, with two of them having a full layer of intricate lace peeking out from under some draped folds in the skirt. The most breathtaking piece of this collection must be the third gown with lace details. From the front it looks like a typical Wang wedding dress with a simple, fitted bustier top whose simplicity is contrasted by a skirt with lots of ruffles. It’s only from the back that the true beauty of this dress really shows with hundreds of flowy, draped folds in a sheer lace appliqué fabric.

It’s not just the color that is special. A couple of dresses have one or two small embellishments on the hips, also a rather unusual place since these sorts of decorations are usually featured front center. As far as shape is concerned, Wang sticks to her favorites. Most of the dresses are classic bustier gowns, but there are some with one or two shoulder straps as well and even some high-neckline dresses too. The skirts are business as usual for Wang with a limited choice between either an A-line skirt from the waist down or a fishtail skirt. Depending on what you would like to show off the choice is easily made. Tiny waist? A-line skirt all the way! Curves in all the right places? The mermaid dress is your best friend.

When it comes to the bustier tops, some of the dresses have embellishments around the waist or right under the bust. Both locations have the same purpose: drawing the attention to the narrowest part of your body—your waist.
