Gothic Makeup Ideas

Gothic-Makeup-IdeasGothic eye makeup is one of the lovely trends for all young girls and young aged ladies as well. It allows them to create new looks and express themselves through a romantic and mysterious appearance. Sometimes when a girl feels herself in one of those moods requiring some sadness and loneliness, she turns to gothic makeup as a way of expressing her feelings. The idea is not bad as the good option that gothic makeup offers is that there are no rules in colors or shapes drawn on the face or around the eyes.

Moreover, it is considered lovely and healing for many when allowing them to express some different sides of the self in means of coloring their face. Gothic eye makeup is considered also a part of punk subculture, and achieving that type of makeup doesn’t necessarily require much of black eyeliner as much as a good dark color matching. However, not always the dark colors are used for gothic makeup as the idea within itself is very artistic and dreamy.

One can make easy or complicated drawings around the eye or on the upper eyelid to look mysterious, creepy, sad or vampy. Referring to the celtic and gothic culture we see that, dark eye shades that generate a bold look and leave a quite seductive impact are the basis of traditional sultry gothic makeup. Many girls and young ladies like to dress and wear makeup in style, in addition to finding a good means of expressing themselves.

The gothic makeup is suitable for all styles, and it allows you to create and mix matching colors together to get a brilliant look. Red, dark blue, brown, navy and dark green are all suitable for gothic makeup and you can also use some glittering or magic spell glitter on your eyelids to add more glamour. Some other ideas depend on mixing green with black, violet or red. Or even mix pink with black, violet with pink and black with dark lip colors and light colored eyes. Such combinations match better with white skin tones, black nail colors and red hair or multi toned hair. The venomous black and red lip colors can be used as well, to add some creepy effect to the look.
